Charlotte’s racetrack sports a reputation for being the “Best Place to See the Race,” and Friday night’s NC Education Lottery 200, was a race to be seen. Lagasse Jr. continued to stay focused on the track, while he made this third start this season in the NACAR Camping World Truck Series. Lagasse Jr. again partnered with NTS Motorsports to race at Charlotte.

Scott Lagasse Jr. Finishes Third in Daytona with a Shot to Win!

(St. Augustine, Fla.) February 23, 2015- The 2015 NASCAR season is officially underway. Scott Lagasse Jr. raced in both the NEXTera Energy 250 and the Alert Today Florida 300 at Daytona International Speedway.

Before the racing even began, Lagasse Jr. and TeamSLR spread the safety message of “Alert Today, Alive Tomorrow.” First, Lagasse drove an excited Cub Scout Blaze to school in his race car with a police escort. Students from Crown Point Elementary were cheering as the Alert Today Florida, Boy Scouts of America, and Pinch A Penny Pools and Spas car arrived in the school parking lot.

TeamSLR Visits Tallahassee

St. Augustine, FL–

This week marked the annual “Florida Tourism Day 2015″ in Tallahassee, Florida. Scott Lagasse Jr. and members of his team made the trip west to attend the event with the NASCAR Xfinity Series “Alert Today, Alive Tomorrow”, Boy Scouts of America race car.

On Wednesday evening, Adams Street next to the Capitol was blocked off for a street party for the annual event. Lagasse Jr., and others from TeamSLR were able to meet legislatures and tourism industry leaders to share how the team and Scott Lagasse Jr. utilize the program to deliver the FDOT safety message.
