STRONG SHOWING FOR LAGASSE JR. IN KANSAS

St. Augustine, FL (October 5, 2013)

On Friday, October 4, 2013, Scott Lagasse Jr. reunited with Cunningham Motorsports in an effort to place another win on their resumes and quickly showed why the competition was worried. This was the finale for the 2013 ARCA Stock Car Racing Series at Kansas Speedway in the Kansas Lottery 98.9.

Lagasse is no stranger to the 1.5 mile Kansas Speedway where he has won in the past and the cars reach speeds in excess of 190 mph and average over 175 mph. Even though Lagasse never sat in this car before Friday morning’s practice, he and the team showed how good they work together as they began dialing in the cars handling for the night time race. The car proved to be very fast in the only practice of the day and in qualifying. Lagasse posted the sixth fastest time in the FORT KNOX Vaults car.
