This weekend, Scott Lagasse Jr. will be racing at the historic Road America racetrack in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin. Scott Jr. will be driving the Richard Childress Racing (RCR) No. 3 Bellin Health / American Cancer Society Chevrolet Camaro in the NASCAR XFINITY Series, and the No. 17 SCREEN YOUR MACHINE™ / American Cancer Society Camaro in the TRANS AM Series race. This will be Lagasse, Jr.’s first start at the four-mile road course in both series.

Bellin Health, a leader in the fight against cancer in Northeast Wisconsin and Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, is excited to partner with Scott Lagasse Jr. and the American Cancer Society in this cancer prevention message.

Bellin Health, will introduce Scott Jr. to the organization’s cancer team and patients at Bellin Health’s facilities on Thursday, August 24th. Scott Jr. will be sharing his message and signing racing memorabilia for patients, along with filming a PSA for Bellin Health. Twelve patients and their doctors will then join Scott Jr. as his VIP guests at Road America for Sunday’s NASCAR XFINITY Series race, where a cancer survivor will take their “Victory Lap” against cancer with him during driver intros.

“As an Ambassador for the American Cancer Society and Fight Colorectal Cancer in the fight against cancer, I’m excited to have Bellin Health partnered with us this weekend in bringing this message to the public. I am looking forward to meeting patients and their doctors, and sharing a fun time together at the race track where they can maybe enjoy a short break away from their health concerns,” said Scott Jr.
